Aim:

Moving a load from one position to one or more other positions.

Grab:

• The load is placed on the deck the shuttle or trolley is equipped with

Type of equipment:

• Manual or motorised
• On rails, wire-guided or radio controlled
• Idle or motorised roller, with fixed or mobile deck etc..

Tippers, load turners

Aim:

To tip a load through 90° or to turn it 180°.

Grab:

  The load is placed onto a chassis and can be held in place by a press arm system if required

Roller, chain bed and belt conveyors

Aim:
To convey unit loads, in packages or loose, from one position to one or more other positions.

Grab:
The load can be placed on the conveyor or can come from another conveyor or another source

Type of equipment:

• Roller conveyors
• Chain bed conveyors
• Belt conveyors
• Mesh conveyors
• etc

Conveyors can stand alone or can be integrated into a conveyor line with transfers, such as a 90° chain transfer integrated into a roller conveyor line.
